Logistics & Storage
Kingline Medical's logistics is distinguished by its quality management system (QMS) certification according to DIN EN ISO 13485:2016, which has been in place since the beginning of 2022. DIN 13485 is a quality management certification explicitly for medical device manufacturers. Through the QMS, Kingline has numerous defined and documented processes for sales, purchasing, warehouse management or customer support, which serve quality assurance.
Kingline Medical's customers benefit from the company's long-term and very reliable cooperation with various CEP service providers, with the help of which experience has shown that even a very high number of personal protective equipment could be shipped and thus a high demand could be satisfied. In addition to the cooperation with CEP service providers, Kingline also has its own fleet of trucks to provide additional support through direct deliveries when needed.
This wide-ranging logistics concept allows a response time in the range of 10,000-20,000 pieces of rapid tests already by the next working day, with an order quantity of more than 70,000 pieces the delivery takes place within 1-2 working days and with an order of more than 3 million pieces the complete delivery can take 3-4 working days depending on the infrastructure and capacity of the delivery point. In general, our weekly capacity is about 50,000 shipments and the coordination and scheduling is done by our in-house logistics management, but we also have other warehouses whose daily shipment is managed separately.
For potential bottlenecks in the supply of rapid antigen tests, a permanent stock of at least 5,000,000 rapid antigen tests is secured in one of our warehouses, as Kingline Medical regularly acts as a supplier of rapid tests to federal and state authorities, as well as federal states and DAX corporations, and consequently wants to ensure a supply capability.
In order to be able to guarantee professional storage from our side, Kingline GmbH has rented a warehouse from a well-known logistics service provider. Here, the landlord ensures measures through regular pest control that the warehouse remains free of pests. Furthermore, a batch-clean storage and its documentation is a matter of course, even in case of additional expenses. The temperature is controlled by means of temperature tracking and is linked to an automatic alarm so that further steps can be taken in good time in the event of fluctuations that endanger product quality. In addition, attention is paid to maintaining a compliant temperature during delivery and receipt and, if necessary, refrigerated trucks or appropriate heating are also used.
This now means in summary: The successful and condition-compliant supply of our clientele is ensured in any case.
